This AI colleague takes on the responsibilities of tracking, attribution, analysis, automation, and optimization of all aspects of the online marketing process, freeing marketers from these tedious tasks.

What will you do?

We are a high-potential start-up and are just at the beginning. You will have an impact within a company that can grow very quickly. As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that is required for the storing and processing of our data. Other tasks that are relevant for the data engineer are:

• Helping to design our data pipelines to scale (currently processing over 10M sessions a day)

• Working on tickets related to improving and adding data pipelines.

• Improving our distributed cluster setup inside Databricks

• Improving & writing PySpark code to improve our current codebase,

• Creating framework for data validation and quality checks

• Creating unit tests and data quality checks for data pipelines

• Solve bugs.

• helping on designing and scaling database that is heavily used in the application

• In this role we are especially searching for someone who has (more)  experience with PySpark and how to set up distributed clusters in Databricks.

About you

• Living in the Netherlands

• You bring 2-5 years of relevant work experience as a data engineer

• And have 2-5 years of experience with python and pandas;

• You have experience creating and designing scalable data pipelines (>2 years)

• You have experience with (Py)Spark (> 1.5 years)

• You have experience  with cluster setup (distributed spark clusters setup)

• You have experience in DataBricks and/or Delta Lake

• You are critical, solution-oriented and have good project management skills;

• You are a team player who can communicate well and motivate yourself;

• You are fluent in English;
